Medellín Consultant is a trade name of CitySol Propiedades S.A.S. (NIT 900.692.211-0), Medellín, Colombia, which is responsible for processing your personal data (responsable del tratamiento) under Colombia's data protection law, Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1377 de 2013.

Contact details you submit (name, email) through purchase, booking, application, or subscription forms.

Free guides: when you request one of our free guides, we collect your first name, email, the option you choose under "What describes you best?" (for example "Planning to buy"), your WhatsApp number if you choose to give it (optional), which guide you asked for, the platform you came from, and a record of the consent you gave, with its date.

Purchase records processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.

Booking details processed by TidyCal when you schedule a session.

Anonymous usage analytics (pages viewed, clicks, approximate location) to improve the site.

If you accept advertising cookies (see the banner on your first visit), browsing, sign-up and purchase events are shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. via the Meta Pixel, so we can measure and target ads on Facebook and Instagram. Nothing in this category loads until you accept.

To deliver products you purchase and grant access to The Vault.

To send you the free guide you requested, and — because you authorised it — occasional emails about living, investing and doing business in Colombia, including our guides, products and services. We use your "What describes you best?" answer so the emails you get are relevant to you.

If you gave us your WhatsApp number, we may contact you there about the topic of the guide you requested. You can ask us to stop at any time.

We only add you to our email list when you tick the consent box on a form. That authorisation is voluntary, and we keep a record of when and how you gave it, as Ley 1581 de 2012 requires.

You can withdraw it at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to info@medellinconsultant.com.

Service providers who run this business: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, accounts and content access), TidyCal (scheduling), Netlify (hosting), and our email service provider. Each processes your data only to provide their service to us.

Some of these providers store data outside Colombia (mainly in the United States). By giving your consent, you authorise this transfer, which is made only to providers that protect your data under their own security and privacy commitments.

We never sell your data. Ever.

On your first visit you'll see a banner asking whether to accept or decline advertising cookies. Decline (or ignore it) and only anonymous, non-advertising analytics run — no data reaches Meta.

Accept, and we load the Meta Pixel, which tells us when someone who saw an ad later visited the site, requested a free guide or bought something, and lets us build ad audiences on Facebook/Instagram. Meta's own use of this data is governed by their policies, not ours.

Under Ley 1581 de 2012 you can: know, update and correct your data; ask for proof of the authorisation you gave; be told how your data has been used; withdraw your authorisation or ask us to delete your data (unless a legal or contractual duty requires us to keep it); access your data free of charge; and file a complaint with Colombia's Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) once you have contacted us first.

To use any of these rights, email info@medellinconsultant.com with your name, the email you used and what you need. We answer questions (consultas) within 10 business days and requests to correct, update or delete (reclamos) within 15 business days, as the law sets out.

We keep your data while you remain subscribed or while we have an active relationship with you, and for as long as the law requires afterwards.
